At the International School of Performing Arts, we passionately believe in the power and potential of the performing arts to inspire, challenge and encourage young people of all abilities and nationalities.

Our focus is on providing high quality music and performing arts education through the International Girls Choir, Holiday Camps and Co-curricular Activities that complement the curriculum and contribute to a holistic educational experience.

Today, Alice is taking us back to basics with a simple but essential reminder: always warm up your voice before singing. Just like dancers warm up their bodies, singers need to prepare their vocal cords – they’re muscles too!

This November, a group of IGC choristers will be taking the stage at the iconic @sydneyoperahouse joining forces with the incredible Australian Girls Choir for the performance of a lifetime!🎤 

It will be a powerful celebration of talent, confidence, and the joy of music on one of the world’s most famous stages.🌟

At IGC, we’re passionate about building a strong musical education from the very beginning. One of the key tools we use is Solfa, a musical language that helps our choristers recognise patterns, understand melodies, and memorise songs with ease. 🎶

Each note has a special name, like Do, Re, and Mi, and unique hand signs to bring the music to life.
