Performing Arts Holiday Camps

Looking for ways to inspire and engage your child during the school holidays? Join a group of young performers for a five-day performing arts Holiday Camp in Singapore with the International School of Performing Arts!

Through dynamic workshops in song, dance and drama, participants will develop their confidence, communication skills, team work and stage presentation skills, all while having fun and being creative with other like-minded children.

Experienced Staff

Your child will be mentored by the International School of Performing Arts’ experienced team of instructors who all have specialist skills in music, dance and drama. Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for your child to thrive in is the ISPA Team’s number one priority, and we ensure all children are encouraged to reach their potential, whether that be learning a new skill or making a new friend.

A Holiday Camp for Everyone

With full day and half day workshops for boys and girls aged 5 to 12, our Holiday Camps cater for first-time learners through to experienced young artists. The program is open to students of all nationalities and ability levels; no experience is necessary. Parents are invited to attend a showcase concert on the final day of the program – the perfect opportunity to share their new skills, and leaving children with a real sense of achievement.

In 2024, ISPA will be running three performing arts Holiday Camps:

• An Aussie Adventure Holiday Camp: September 30 – October 4, 2024 at Australian International School
• An Aussie Adventure Holiday Camp: October 14 – 18, 2024 at Astor International School
• An Aussie Adventure Holiday Camp: December 9 – 13, 2024 (Venue to be confirmed)

An Aussie Adventure Holiday Camp

Over five jam-packed days, boys and girls aged 5 to 12 will work with ISPA’s dynamic team of performing arts specialists to put together a production of this original show. Featuring songs, dances and drama activities with an Australian flair, we have a joyous week of fun in store for our enthusiastic participants! The program is open to students of all nationalities and ability levels; no experience is necessary.

An Aussie Adventure tells the story of a family of Partridge Birds visiting Australia for the first time. A wrong turn on the way to the Big City leaves the family stranded in the Top End of Australia, with an array of colourful characters to greet them. While singing and dancing their way around Australia, participants will build foundational performance skills that inspire confidence, so that they can flourish musically and socially with content that is age appropriate, educational and engaging.

The storyline allows for our more senior participants (aged 7 – 12) to extend themselves by auditioning for singing solos, lead speaking parts and supporting roles that complement the exciting ensemble performances from junior participants (aged 5 – 7). Workshops throughout the week are designed to teach participants the music and movement for the show, alongside activities that focus on the fundamentals of performance.

At the end of the five-days, participants will show off their efforts to family and friends in this amusing and vibrant musical adventure!
