May and June Open House
Enrol for NEW year commencing in August 2025

Join us for a FREE class, meet our lovely tutors and experience what it’s like to be a part of the International Girls Choir (IGC) at our May and June Open House events. Girls aged 7 and above will also have the opportunity to attend an assessment workshop and receive a personalised report.

We believe that every girl has the potential to sing, no matter her experience or confidence level. Girls aged 5 and above are all welcome – no experience required! Girls aged 7 and above will have the opportunity to attend an assessment workshop and receive a personalised report.

  • junior@igc is a specially designed program for girls aged 5 to 7 who are just beginning their journey in the performing arts,
  • Training classes, Allegro and Avanti, are for girls aged 7 and above who are ready to take on more complex learning, and
  • We’re launching the audition-based Performing Choir in August 2025 which gives girls the opportunity to perform at high-profile events around Singapore.

Our encouraging instructors ensure that all girls have a positive and fun experience as they grow in confidence and develop other life skills including public speaking and presentation skills.

Open House Details

Entry Age: Session times based on child’s age on October 31, 2025. Girls who turn 5 by December 31, 2025 are welcome to join.

Assessment Workshop: All girls have the opportunity to try a free class at Open House. Girls aged 7 and above who attend the Allegro and Avanti class on May 25 or June 1 can also attend an optional assessment workshop and receive a personalised report emailed to you following Open Day. Please select whether you would like to attend the assessment workshop on your booking form. In order to be considered for a position in Performing Choir it is a requirement to attend the assessment workshop.

Open Day Locations: Our regular venues are held at Astor International School, Australian International School and a NEW city-based location (Dhoby Ghaut/Bencoolen area) – however you are welcome to attend Open House at any location based on your preferred date.

Allegro and Avanti Level (ages 7 and above): 10.15am – 11.45am. Trial class only – assessment workshops are not offered on this date.

Open House – Option 4: Saturday June 7

Location: Australian International School – further information to be confirmed on booking

Allegro and Avanti Level (ages 7 and above): 2.30 – 4.00pm. Trial class only – assessment workshops are not offered on this date.

2025-26 Venues and Levels

The 2025-26 IGC brochure including venue timetables will be released on May 5.

IGC Venues:

  • Astor International School: Saturday morning
  • Australian International School: Saturday afternoon
  • NEW city-based location (Dhoby Ghaut/Bencoolen area): Thursday afternoon/evening

IGC Levels:

  • junior@igc: Ages 5 to 7 on October 31, 2025 (and girls who are turning 5 by December 31, 2025 are welcome to join this class).
  • Allegro: Ages 7 to 9 on October 31, 2025.
  • Avanti: Ages 9 and above on October 31, 2025.
  • Performing Choir: By audition only and only at the city-based venue.

2025-26 Dates – Semester 1

Semester 1 runs from August 14 (Thursday classes) or August 16 (Saturday classes) for 16 weeks, concluding on either Thursday November 27/Saturday November 29 or Thursday December 4/Saturday December 6 (depending on when the Concert Date falls).

There will be two scheduled makeup classes offered in Semester 1 for students who miss classes (exact dates to be advised). Should your daughter be missing three consecutive classes or more, please contact us.

The Semester 1 Concert date will be announced in May; it will likely be held between mid to late November 2025.

Pro Rata fees are applicable for girls who join after the Semester begins.

If you have a daughter who loves singing around the house, dressing up and putting on little skits for the family, here’s a way for her to learn more about the performing arts!

Join us for a FREE class, meet our lovely tutors and experience what it’s like to be a part of the International Girls Choir (IGC).

The IGC offers a special junior@igc program for girls aged 5 to 7 who are just beginning their journey in the performing arts, and training classes for girls aged 7 to 12 who are ready to take on more complex learning. Our encouraging instructors ensure that all girls have a positive and fun experience as they grow in confidence and develop other life skills including public speaking and presentation skills.

The IGC believes that every girl has the potential to sing, no matter her experience or confidence level. Girls aged 5 to 12 of all nationalities are welcome – no experience required! It’s not necessary for girls to prepare anything for the class as your daughter will not be required to sing by herself.

Looking for an engaging Performing Arts program for the upcoming school break? Join us at our April and June Holiday Camps, where participants will work with ISPA’s experienced Instructors to create and perform an original show.
